The worship band leads worship at the 10:30 service, Fuel service and at other services
and events with a modern style of worship.
It's made up of around 25 musicians, singers and instrumentalists, split into smaller bands. We
practice weekly, play a variety of music and are constantly on the look
out for new material!
Music Repertoire
The worship band maintains a database of all the songs used during worship
at St Andrew's church. Various reports from this database are available
here.
The adult choir meets for a weekly practice on Fridays at St. Andrew's
Church. They sing a wide range of music, helping
to lead worship at the 9.00 a.m. Parish Communion service at St. Andrew's,
and at monthly Matins, Evensongs and Evening Communion services at St.
Bartholomew's. The choir is affilated to the Royal School of Church Music
and takes part in many of their events. They welcome new singers of any
voice part.
